When exporting test cases in Excel, "specifically false" response is populating in some cells where we would expect false or true.

Spreadsheet is used to assure adequate testing of measures. This response is confusing and inaccurate. Column AL (OccurrenceA$EncounterInpatientNonElective) is showing as "specifically false". We have not seen this term used before. Also, all requirements are met, patient LOS is less than/= 120 days and case ends during measurement period.

          Hi Marilyn,

We added in "SPECIFICALLY FALSE" in the latest release. This corresponds to the red asterisk associated with a line of logic that shows up in the patient view. I've attached a screen shot for IPPPass 02 where you can see the red asterisk associated with the clause "Occurrence A: $EncounterInpatientNonElective" within the denominator (which corresponds to column AL).
Our intent with including the specific occurrence calculation information was to make the results of the population calculation clearer, because sometimes a clause that is specifically false (but would have previously shown up in the excel export as true) would make the population calculation be false. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

          Thanks,
          Lizzie
