This is partially a follow-up to BONNIEMAT-1340. As instructed, I've reached out to NLM Support and received guidance to inquire guidance here as to "when you should choose a Profile, versus when you should choose a Release, and which profile or release name you should use for your purposes".

If I wish to retrieve these two value sets at the same time in Bonnie to evaluate a measure, which Profile and/or Release option should I use?

• https://vsac.nlm.nih.gov/valueset/2.16.840.1.113883.3.464.1003.101.12.1002/expansion/eCQM%20Update%202022-05-05
  • Most recent published value set version included in a previous eCQM Update release (i.e.: 2022-05-05 and prior) which contains codes (e.g., CPT code 99218) that became invalid in the most recent code system.

  • Most recent published value set version not included in a previous eCQM Update release (i.e.: 2022-05-05 and prior).
