eCQM Impacted – CMS996v5 (STEMI)

Issue – The definition that is used in the denominator exception, “Received tPA in Another Facility within 24 hours Prior to Admission”, is included in machine-readable files [CMS996-v5-1-000-QDM-5-6.cql, CMS995-v5-1-000-QDM-5-6.json, CMS996-v5-1-000-QDM-5-6.xml], however, it is not named “Denominator Exception” as implementers may be accustomed and as identified in the HQMF file [CMS996v5.xml]. Though the file has different naming conventions than implementers may be expecting, all required definitions are available in the publicly posted zip file.
