Solution-This is not consistent with the intent of the measure and has been addressed for 2020 reporting. Because we do not know how frequently this will occur, we are not able to comment on the degree of impact to performance scores, but we do not anticipate there will be a negative impact. We are not aware of any workarounds to address this for the 2019 implementation.

Issue- For the 2019 Reporting/Performance period, there is a bug in the "Has Prehypertensive Reading With Interventions" rule definition giving Numerator credit for patients without a “Followup within one year.”
