      eCQM Impacted – CMS1028v2 Severe Obstetric Complications

      Issue – The Blood Transfusion value set (OID 2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1029.213) contains 82 codes. 39 codes were added during the 2023 Annual Update (for changes effective in the 2024 Reporting Period), 33 of which are not consistent with the intent of the measure and will erroneously place the patient in the numerator.
