THis was not possible with the current QRDA-I spec that limited procedures to a single result. This is has been submitted and accepted as errata issue #236 on the DSTU (http://www.hl7.org/dstucomments/showdetail.cfm?dstuid=80). When this has been published as an erratum, or as guidance, Cypress will update its test cases to take advantage of this.

It appears that, for the EP measures, Cypress is creating procedures that have more than one result. The datatype “Procedure, Performed” has a result attribute, but there is also a datatype of “Procedure, Result” in the QDM. What would make more sense – a “Procedure, Performed” with three result values in it, or one “Procedure, Performed” with no result, and three accompanying “Procedure, Result” records? Has there been any thought or discussion put into this condition?

Anything you can contribute would be helpful. Thanks.

Inour testing one of the Cypress patients that has one procedure performed (SNOMED-CT 116783008) with 3 SNOMED results. There are multiple examples of >1 result associated with a single procedure in the EP Cypress data that we must use for certification. Currently that data is loaded into Calibro as 3 separate procedures, each with one result. We need to have 1 procedure with 3 results.

See attached notes of our internal discussions which may inform the answer.
