Logic affecting more than 1 eCQM
It appears that, for the EP measures, Cypress is creating procedures that have more than one result. The datatype “Procedure, Performed” has a result attribute, but there is also a datatype of “Procedure, Result” in the QDM. What would make more sense – a “Procedure, Performed” with three result values in it, or one “Procedure, Performed” with no result, and three accompanying “Procedure, Result” records? Has there been any thought or discussion put into this condition?
Anything you can contribute would be helpful. Thanks.
Inour testing one of the Cypress patients that has one procedure performed (SNOMED-CT 116783008) with 3 SNOMED results. There are multiple examples of >1 result associated with a single procedure in the EP Cypress data that we must use for certification. Currently that data is loaded into Calibro as 3 separate procedures, each with one result. We need to have 1 procedure with 3 results.
