We are testing with Cypress 3.0 alpha 6. For CMS-138, we notice that B, GP_ADULT and N, GP_ADULT include the Patient Characteristic template to indicate they are tobacco users. We believe this is a template that should not be used for reporting year 2016. Rather, we believe these patients should be using the “Patient Characteristic Observation Assertion” template (2.16.840.1.113883.10.20.24.3.103:2014-12-01) to indicate that they are tobacco users.
Can you confirm if this will be updated by the final version of Cypress 3.0 we will use for certification this year?
