The Cypress patient data for the test we created for CMS129/NQF0389 states that the patient Christopher Clarke is in the denominator. However, we believe that the patient should NOT be in the denominator given the dates of the events. The measure states that the Prostate Specific Antigen Test must start before the start of the Clinical Staging Procedure, but the data for Christopher Clarke has the Prostate Specific Antigen Test occurring on the same day as the Clinical Staging Procedure (03/26/2012). Does "starts before start of" really mean "starts on or before start of", or is the patient data in Cypress incorrect? Thank you in advance.
