QUESTION 1:
In Issue: CYPRESS-1720 David Czulada entered the following comment:
"This is a difference between Cypress v3 and Cypress v4. Cypress v4 now enforces the use of valid UCUM (Unified Code for Units of Measure) units. Common unit codes can be found here http://download.hl7.de/documents/ucum/ucumdata.html.
In this case, the UCUM unit for pounds is [lb_av].
In UCUM, you can use non-standard abbreviations, but they need to be encapsulated with brackets {}, e.g.,
_
{lbs}"_
I would like to know why this is being enforced by Cypress in 2019, if it is not being enforced by CMS? If it is being enforced by CMS, could you please document where you are finding that information?
QUESTION 2:
113v7: "Assessment, Performed: Estimated Gestational Age at Delivery" using "Estimated Gestational Age at Delivery (2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1045.26)"
9v7: "Assessment, Performed: Estimated Gestational Age at Delivery" using "Estimated Gestational Age at Delivery (2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1045.26)"
We are not using a unit for Gestational Age for either of these measures. CMS-9v7 does not give us any issues in Cypress. CMS-113 fails to calculate until manually enter a unit into the file. Could you tell us why that would be? Is there a difference we are not noticing?
I could provide the files we are running through Cypress if needed.
