NQF389 CMS129 Cypress patient does not contain all data needed to calculate.

      The test records contain data elements that are mapped to the data criteria for different measures. Some of these data elements implicitly match other criteria , such as a Procedure Result being and indication that a Procedure Performed actually took place. Due to the way these elements are tagged against HQMF criteria types there were a few corner cases where this didn't allow for things like a Procedure Performed with a result to generate a Procedure Result template entry in the Cat I documents. This has been resolved in 2.3

    • Implementation Problem

      According to the Cypress data for the test cases we created. The patient “Elmer Graves” is in the Numerator for CMS129 NQF0389, Prostate Cancer: Avoidance of Overuse of Bone Scan for Staging Low Risk Prostate Cancer Patients. However, our quality module is not even able to get this patient into the Denominator because the Denominator for CMS 129 requires data for ‘Procedure, Result.’ But the Cypress patient only has data for ‘Procedure, Performed.’ I’ve attached 3 files, a Word document with screen prints illustrating this issue the .html page and the QRDA file for the patient.

      We are using Cypress 2.2 and the version of the measures prior to the June update. Can you please review and comment?
