Annual Update
As per the data, the patient Joanne Butler should get a status for denominator exclusion. The denominator exclusion criteria states :
Diagnosis: Depression diagnosis" satisfies all:
starts before start of ("Encounter, Performed: Depression Screening Encounter Codes" during "Measurement Period" )
overlaps ("Encounter, Performed: Depression Screening Encounter Codes" during "Measurement Period" ) OR
Diagnosis: Bipolar Diagnosis" satisfies all:
starts before start of ("Encounter, Performed: Depression Screening Encounter Codes" during "Measurement Period" )
overlaps ("Encounter, Performed: Depression Screening Encounter Codes" during "Measurement Period" ) .
The patient has a SNOMEDCT code(15639000) for depression diagnosis starting on January 30, 2015 5:30pm and ending on March 30, 2015 4:30pm.
The patient has 3 encounters i.e a SNOMEDCT code(14736009) for Depression Screening Encounter with start time January 25, 2015 4:00pm and end time January 25, 2015 5:00pm;
a CPT code (99213) for Office Visit with start time January 30, 2015 5:00pm and end time January 30, 2015 6:00pm and another CPT code (99213) with start time April 30, 2015 4:00pm and end time April 30, 2015 5:00pm.
The exclusion condition does not get satisfied because neither of the exclusion criteria are met.
Hence, the patient gets a status for numerator.
Kindly look into it.
