Description of issue: The visit code 99211 is currently not included in selected measures although meaningful services can occur during  brief patient visits for patients with established relationships with the clinician. We recommend including this code as a direct reference code (DRC) to account for visits that are 5 minutes or less.  Goal of review: Provide preview for information purposes only.

Proposed solution:  Add the  following string of logic to the existing CQL definitions related to encounters applicable to the selected measures to include CPT 99211: ["Encounter, Performed": "Office or other outpatient visit for the evaluation and management of an established patient, that may not require the presence of a physician. Usually, the presenting problem(s) are minimal. Typically, 5 minutes are spent performing or supervising these services."] Rationale for change: To include meaningful clinical services that occur during brief encounters for patients with established clinician relationships.
