The QDM model says that Author Date/time can be used only if Relevant period (start and end of the Encounter) cannot be determined. Does that mean use it as the start or the end, or both of these dates/time?
      Thanks

The commenter is asking how to calculate an Encounter, Performed for which there is either:

      (a) no start time for the relevant period

      (b) no end time for the relevant period (which generally means the Encounter is still in progress)

      (c) neither a start or end time for the relevant period

QDM 5.3 and 5.4 states that if no relevant period exists, use the author dateTime (i.e., time time the encounter was documented).

Please advise how to address the issue in CQL.

      Thank you
