For the All or Nothing Composite measure, the IG states:
All-or-nothing scoring includes an individual in the numerator of the composite measure if they are in the numerators of all of the component measures in which they are in the denominator.
Question – should a patient be included in or excluded from the other measures in the all of nothing composite if they meet a denominator exception/exclusion in only one of the measures?
Measures | Patient | Should the result be 20% or 60% |
|||
A | B (Male) | C | D | E (Female) | |
Breast Cancer screening | Y | N/A | Y | Y
Prostate Cancer Screening | Y | Y | Y | N/A
Colon Cancer Screening | Y | Y | Y | Y |
N/A = Den Exclusion or Den Exception
However, the logic appears to require a patient to be in the denominator of all component measures.
Please provide guidance on how this should be implemented and scored.
