The hybrid measure value set provides both a MEDICARE and a Medicare FFS payer type. In previous measures, only the Medicare FFS has been available as a payer type. Due to the addition of the MEDICARE option, would it be appropriate to link this payer type to a Medicare DPU financial class? This would include DPU patients in the measure and I would like to determine if they should be included for this measure.
