Many of the labs for patients at surgical hospitals are performed pre-admission, sometimes a 1wk or more in advance of the admission. Because of this, the lab results will not meet the timing requirements and will not be included in the QRDA file.
Is this taken into consideration in the calculation of hybrid measure results? Are there any exclusions or exemptions for surgical facilities?

Any insight or further information is appreciated. Thanks
