With the addition of the Medicare Advantage patients for this year's submission (July 2024 - June 2025) we have noticed with test submissions that 10% of our patients are being rejected for missing MBI numbers. Our EMR vendor is trying to figure out a solution but this likely won't be in place by October 1st so my question is whether CMS will accept the other 90% of patients and just ignore the rejected files so we can voluntarily submit or do we have to delete all of the rejected files to sucessfully submit a file for hybrid measures.
