Conflicting information on the acceptable unit of measure for platelets, seeking clarification

      The specifications on eCQI resource center expresses the acceptable unit of measure for platelets is "uL" or "L". However the Hospital User Guide that came out with the HSR reports on page 25 the description for platelets says "Standardized value for this CCDE (“MISSING” if no value was reported). The standard unit of measurement for this value is milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL)."

      Can you clarify the acceptable unit of measure for platelet? Our hospital failed the lab measure by sending platelets value with the "fL" unit of measure and want to ensure we are using the right one moving forward.
