QRDA file is pulling approved LOINC code for Mean Platelets Volume, but the actual results may or may not be reported in an acceptable unit of measurement. We need to pull the correct platelets results with correct LOINC code and approved unit of measurement.

for the HWM measure the QRDA file is pulling the LOINC code "32623-1" for the "Mean Platelet Volume."  However, the actual result is reported in the unit of measurement of "fL,"(ex. Mean Platelet Volume- 8.9 fL)

Per the data element, it instructs to, "...please report values using one of the appropriate units of measurement listed below, which represent valid UCUM codes.

      1) is the unit of measurement "fL" the same as the acceptable units of measurement listed in the data element "10*3/uL" or "10*9/L/mm3?" (ex: Platelet Count - 300 10*3/uL)

      2) if the QRDA report is listing an approved LOINC code, but the result is in the "fL" unit of measurement, is this acceptable?

      3) is the actual result being reported or only the LOINC code that demonstrates the lab was collected/resulted?
