Discrepancies of what the acceptable time period for vital signs and labs for patients with ED data. Specifically, when does such period end?

      The narrative states:
      1. Direct admission:
FIRST resulted VS within 2 hours (120 minutes) after the start of the inpatient admission,
FIRST resulted laboratory tests within 24 hours (1440 minutes) after the start of the inpatient admission.
      2. Emergency department
FIRST resulted VS and laboratory tests within 24 hours (1440 minutes) PRIOR to the start of the inpatient admission.

      The Logic>Functions lists:
      Labs: "- 1440 minutes, start of Encounter.relevantPeriod + 1440 minutes"
      Physical Exam/VS: "- 1440 minutes, start of Encounter.relevantPeriod + 120 minutes"
      Physical Exam using lab timing/WT: "- 1440 minutes, start of Encounter.relevantPeriod + 1440 minutes"

The narrative and the logic provide different time ranges. Ex. fof patients who went through the ED, narrative states VS must be PRIOR inpatient admission, however, the logic provides a wider time range ending AFTER admission, up to 24 hours after inpatient admission. Similarly for ED patients VS, narrative states 24 hours pre inpatient admission but logic provides wider time frame ending 2 hours AFTER inpatient admission.
Please clarify if the time ranges for ED patients who may have a lab value or vital sign elements before and after the inpatient admission have the same outer time limits (ex. 24 hours after inpatient admission or 2 hours after inpatient admission) as direct admits as is implied in the logic but not addressed in the narrative.
