I'm reaching out to ask a question related to the lab information and the way it's being pulled from our EPIC system. Provided that we stay within the measure specifications outlined on the CMS website, for first lab draw specs, can we use the venous numbers [example: Venous Sodium, Venous Potassium, Venous Glucose, Venous Calculated Hematocrit] if they were the first pulled labs instead of using the labs within the "CHEM PROFILE" – Sodium, Potassium, Creatinine, etc? We're finding some charts have venous labs pulled before actual labs [CHEM PROFILE] and just want to double check.
