How do we need to map Medicare Payer in order to only capture Medicare FFS patients? Currently, no matter what changes we have made to the mapping, Medicare Advantage patients continue to pull into our report. Since they are never attached to an HIC or MBI number, is it okay to leave them? The report tool that I use states that if these numbers are missing, then the encounter will not be submitted. Or will their absence negatively effect us on submission?
