      CMS149v6

      As per the measure specifications for numerator Condition, the Assessment/ Intervention has to be performed during <=12 months starts before end of Occurrence A of $DEMEncounter149.

      Numerator =

      • AND: Union of:
      • "Assessment, Performed: Standardized Tools for Assessment of Cognition (result)"
      • "Intervention, Performed: Cognitive Assessment"
      • <= 12 month(s) starts before end of Occurrence A of $DEMEncounters149

      As per the Bonnie tool, ‘<=12months starts before’ is interpreted as 12months+ 29days.

      Scenario1:

      Intervention performed during 12months+29thday

      Occurrence A of $DEMEncounter149 on 1/1/2012

      Intervention performed during <=12months  on 12/02/2010 – is satisfying the Numerator criteria.

      Scenario2:

      Intervention performed during 12months+30thday

      Occurrence A of $DEMEncounter149 on 1/1/2012

      Intervention performed during <=12months  on 12/01/2010 – is NOT satisfying the Numerator criteria.

      Given the above scenarios, what exactly should be our time frame for this numerator condition. For <=12months, should we consider exactly 12months only OR (12months+29days)?
