HQMF Export needs to correct Measure Type value (INTERM-OM) for certain measure XMLs

XMLWordPrintable

    • MADiE
    • CMS165v13, CMS1056v2, CMS1074v2, CMS1206v2, CMS986v4
    • QDM/CQL
    • The eCQI Resource Center parses the XML to extract data for display on the site as well as run a measure compare analysis. Identifying and manually correcting such data is not maintainable.

      The following measures are using the Measure Type value code (INTERM-OM) for the Measure Type displayName value within their XML files:

      • CMS165v13
      • CMS1056v2
      • CMS1074v2
      • CMS1206v2
      • CMS986v4

      HTML (correct) value is Intermediate Clinical Outcome

      XML value is INTERM-OM

      Example:

      <subjectOf>
      <measureAttribute>
      <code code="MSRTYPE" codeSystem="2.16.840.1.113883.5.4">
      <displayName value="Measure Type"/>
      </code>
      <value code="INTERM-OM" codeSystem="2.16.840.1.113883.5.1063" xsi:type="CD">
      <displayName value="INTERM-OM"/>
      </value>
      </measureAttribute>
      </subjectOf>
      <subjectOf>

      The export should be corrected so the XML files use same displayName value (Intermediate Clinical Outcome) the HTML file has for the Measure Type field.
