'day of' in QDM applies timezone. Should we change our test cases and hope it will work in the engine?

    • Bonnie QDM 5.1.3
    • Yes

'day of' in Bonnie does not promote the left side of the comparison to date, and instead applies timezone. This causes some of our test cases to fail unless the left side has a time greater or equal to our timezone (+0500) (please see attached).
In ticket BONNIEMAT-1252, the advice was to change the test cases to pass (i.e. instead of have date be midnight 12 am make it 5am), because Bonnie will not be fixed. Will the actual CMS engine handle this correctly? If it does not, when these measures are run the left side (of e.g. a 'during' comparison) will be shifted by timezone but the right side will not.
