  • A coordinated effort between Office of the National Coordinator and other federal agencies that complements existing initiatives (e.g. Cancer Moonshot, Precision Medicine Initiative)
  • This effort is centered on empowering individuals with the access to their health records in a meaningful way
  • Empowering individuals through interoperable medication lists is the beginning ie. “tip of the spear”
  • Making use of existing standards and infrastructure to achieve this vision (reuse rather than re-invent)
