The IHE face-to-face meeting in Oak Brook is coming up on July 15-18. If anyone is planning to attend in person, please fill out the Google form (if you are an IHE member), or send an email to the list to be added as a guest (if you are not an IHE member). Online participation is open to everyone and the details will be sent to the mailing list.

SDOH Referrals

Ongoing work on SDOH.RSQ (referral status query) with the goal of having volume 1 for a base unconstrained IG and an US-specific IG constrained to Gravity profiles ready for the IHE meeting.

Discussion of potential new projects

Referrals for procedures

This can be a new named option for the base 360X specification, where we describe how a specific procedure is conveyed via the HL7 v2 message to the recipient.

360X on TEFCA

We had a discussion on the potential benefits for enabling 360X over TEFCA. There are two main areas that need to be addressed:

• the communication protocol on how the referral request and subsequent packages will be exchanged
• endpoint directory enhancements to enable addressing the referral to the appropriate endpoint, and to provide an indication that a particular endpoint supports 360X.

At the next SDHO/General call on 7/26 we will discuss creating a survey for QHINs about interest in this project and possible approaches.
