The top two industry-selected criteria for the Open Test Method Development Pilot Program are Electronic Prescribing and Clinical Decision Support. These are the two criteria that the industry will collaborate on throughout the pilot to develop templates and content. Recognizing that different criteria can influence template development in different ways, ONC encourages the industry to build templates, keeping in mind that a template could be used for a large number of criteria and unit or scenario based testing.
