The top two industry-selected criteria for the Open Test Method Development Pilot Program are Electronic Prescribing and Clinical Decision Support.  These are the two criteria that the industry will collaborate on throughout the pilot to develop templates and content. Recognizing that different criteria can influence template development in different ways, ONC encourages the industry to build templates, keeping in mind that a template could be used for a large number of criteria and unit or scenario based testing.

Introductory work group sessions will be held this week to provide an overview for the pilot program and time for open discussion to kick-off the build phase of the program.  Stakeholders are encouraged to attend one of the sessions at the time that works best for them.
