  • Tester needs to check the relationship between Test Case 3 and Test Case 4.
    • More details: Test Case 4 is an update and replacement to the data in Test Case 3. In Test Case 4, data highlighted in green indicates where data is to be updated from Test Case 3. See the description at Test Data Documentation. Some of the data needs to be the same between the two reports, but because the reports generated by Test Cases 3 and 4 are validated as independent events, the CRV cannot track the data that needs to be shared. The tester must verify that the cancer report for Test Case 4 contains certain values that are equal to corresponding values in Test Case 3's report. These values are highlighted in yellow in the test data for Test Case 4. Additionally, the version number must be greater than the version number in Test Case 3, and the relatedDocumentthe relatedDocument/@typeCode must be "RPLC." See the column "Note To Vendors and Testers" in Test Case 4 for more details.
  • Test Case 5 is a negative test case. The test data must be entered into the EHR system in the same manner as the rest of the test cases. The tester must verify that a cancer report is not generated or would not be submitted for this test case. This is because the cancer diagnosis is not from one of the reportability lists specified as BR 02 on page 21 of Volume 1 of the Cancer Reporting IG.
