This workshop has ended. Thank you to all of our participants!
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) is hosting a Healthcare Directory Workshop, its second public forum focused on healthcare/provider directories on June 13-14. This workshop is a follow up to the highly-successful previous workshop hosted by ONC and the Federal Health Architecture (FHA) in April 2016.
The 2019 Workshop will be assessing advances in provider directory standards and focus on the implementation of a common directory standard. Specifically, the objectives for this workshop include: identifying innovations, best practices, and lessons learned from existing directory implementations; sharing the Validated Healthcare Directory Implementation Guide with stakeholders; and discussing implementation considerations related to the Validated Healthcare Directory Implementation Guide, including governance, sustainability, leadership and legal. Lastly, we will document barriers and actions or mitigation plans to address those barriers.
