The Electronic Medical Documentation Interoperability (EMDI) Initiative reduces provider burden by engaging healthcare providers and stakeholders in pilots that establish secure communication between providers to share medical documentation by using interoperable health IT standards and protocols. The EMDI Pilot Guidance (PG) document was created to provide EMDI participants with additional information and guidance on the EMDI Pilot Program.

The EMDI Pilot Guidance document provides additional information that EMDI participants should review throughout pilot process.
