 Description

Hi, I am totally new to QDM concepts. When I read the measure CMS122v6, it says "Diabetes Grouping Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.464.1003.103.12.1001)". How can I find what are the ICD / SNOMED / CPT codes involved in this value set?

Also note - General Information about the Value Set Authority Center (VSAC), including links to apply for a license, can be found at: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/vsac/support/index.html.

All value sets include an OID (object identifier) such as the one you noted for Diabetes Grouping Value Set. That OID is 2.16.840.1.113883.3.464.1003.103.12.1001. Go to the Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) at: https://vsac.nlm.nih.gov/. And on the second tab, select "Search Value sets". Enter the OID in the query field at the top of the screen and "Search" at the end of the query field. The value set title will display in the screen. Then click on the OID next to the value set name to see all of the content.
Note - to sign into the VSAC you will need to set up an account and sign in. If you do not have an account, you can request one from the log in screen. There is no fee to establish an account for the VSAC but you do have to agree to usage and licensure terms. And the application for an account is not instantaneous.
