 Description

When validating against 108v5, I found an issue where a patient had a code which was within a valueset according to vsac, but that code didn't appear in the valuesets that came with the 2016 bundle download.

The valueset was 2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1045.41 and the code that was missing in for this particular case was 205253.

I have reason to believe that there are other codes that are missing from the 2016 bundle download that are present in vsac. Could you advise what to do?

The Cypress bundles (2015.0.0 and 2016.0.0) are currently missing some codes. Cypress 3.0.2 allowed these codes to be entered in the manual entry test creation from. However, including these codes in a QRDA Cat I document results in the error message described in this ticket. The Cypress 3.0.3 patch released on October 27th, 2016 will not allow these missing codes to be entered in the manual entry form. Instead, users should enter one of the other codes in the required valueset.

I've attached a guidance document if this error appears during certification.

Thanks. A few more follow-up questions to gauge the extent of this issue.

Is this impacting your "C1 Manual" submissions? If so, are you able to select a different code?
Is this impacting any of the other tests (C1/C2 measure tests, or C4 filtering) that you are working with?

I've confirmed that there are ~60 value sets that do not contain the full set of codes. This appears to be caused by an issue with the VSAC API, and how Cypress and Bonnie are utilizing the service.

Thanks again

Constance-

Are you seeing this problem in Cypress or the Cypress Validation Utility?
