Can you guys please issue some guidance to the ATLs on how EHRUTs should work around this issue to demonstrate compliance?

We discussed the issue with ONC, and they would like to us to do some more research into the proposed guidance before it is official. I will update this issue once we have final guidance from ONC

We will be discussing this issue at the Cypress Tech Talk today at 1pm EST. You can register to attend by going to https://www4.gotomeeting.com/register/238584575. I will post the proposed guidance after the talk is over.

I don't have any guidance at the moment, but I will bring this up at our next meeting early next week. I will get you an answer as soon as I can.

Thanks Samuel

We are going for certification in couple of weeks, what do you think we should do?

We donot support ICD10 in our system and there is one patient with ICD-10-CM: O62.3 as Pregnancy Dx. If we use corresponding snomed code it passes Cypress. Do you think it is ok as long as Cypress shows ZERO errors? Similar issue is with Smoking status, it works with other corresponding snomed codes.

Mahesh,

Sorry we didn't get back to you sooner. This is known issue in Cypress. It is due to code crosswalk that happens between value sets. In order to prevent this problem, we have had to whitelist/blacklist certain codes. Unfortunately for this measure, all the codes have been blocked except for an ICD-10 code. We are working with ONC to provide interim guidance while we tackle this difficult issue. Thank you for your patience.

Here is one more example where there is different types of coding are enforced. For measure 0004 there are 4 encounters for BH_Adult patient, 3 are using only CPT and one is using SNOMED. to populate the data do we have to support different multiple coding standards for Encounter? i.e. Both CPT and Snomed?

Please see the scrrenshot. It has only ICD10 for diagnosis. We support only ICD9 and SNOMED. How to handle this?

This test data has only ICD 10 whereas we donot capture ICD10.

Please see the test data, it has only ICD10 code. We donot have support for ICD10, how to go about this.
