Description |
In my EH product, I am trying to validate our QRDA III generation for CMS108v8. CMS108v8_TestDeck.zip contains a patient that qualifies for the denominator and the denominator exclusion. When I upload CMS108v8_PerformanceRate_NA.xml, which has a performance rate of nullFlavor="NA", the error given is "Reported Performance Rate for Numerator 73A59A09-B8A3-46FE-AE6B-BA2E5A8445CD should not be NA".
When I upload CMS108v8_PerformanceRate_Zero.xml, which has a performance rate of value="0", the error given is "Reported Performance Rate for Numerator 73A59A09-B8A3-46FE-AE6B-BA2E5A8445CD should be NA".
There is no error if I remove the Performance Rate element altogether, but I do not see why this is the case. |

Dave, Thank you so much for your guidance. Correcting the bundle did fix our problem and everything appears to be working as expected now. |

Evert- What version of the Cypress bundle do you have? I'm guessing that something may have gone wrong during the bundle installation. The latest version of the 2019 bundle is 2019.1.1 and can be found here https://cypressdemo.healthit.gov/measure_bundles/bundle-2019.zip. I might suggest 'deprecating' your current bundle (which you can do in the Admin page) and re-installing it (or the latest 2019.1.1). If you're currently using 2019.0.1 bundle there were performance issues that caused the installations to fail for some users. Deprecating a bundle will allow you to use all of the tests you created with the old bundle, you just won't be able to create new ones (for the deprecated bundle) Let me know if that changes anything. -Dave Czulada |

Thanks for the idea. I created a product for CMS108v8 only and the results were the same. I still get the error when Downloading All Patients. I've attached the zip file for the individual test (CMS108v8_5eeba3b56362390601d7ee55.qrda.zip). Our Cypress instance was an upgrade from an existing instance. Our VM has 4 cores, 8 GB of RAM, and 100 GB of Hard Disk Space. |

I wonder if something is going wrong during the test generation. What happens if you were to create a product testing only CMS108? How did you install this instance of Cypress 5.3? A fresh VM download, or an upgrade of an existing Cypress instance? Also, what are the performance specifications for this VM. -Dave Czulada |

Thanks again for the quick reply Dave. Yes, this is our own instance on a virtual machine. The "Download All Patients" button is throwing an error

That seems very odd that a test deck would only have a single patient in it. Could you send me the "Download All Patients" zip file from the product page? Is this your instance of Cypress, or are you getting this data from your test proctor? -Dave Czulada |

Hi Dave, this is affecting our certification testing in a few cases. One is the case I mentioned in the description. When trying to certify our QRDA III generation for CMS108v8 in an EH product, we are failing because the DENOM - DENOM EXCL - DENOM EXCEP = 0 |

This is a bug that we will address in future Cypress versions, but I don't imagine this will impact Certification tests as it will only appear when the Denominator value is 0. -Dave Czulada |

Thank you for that clarification Dave. |

Evert- This is a bug is the performance rate validation. The Performance rate should be "NA" when the DENOM – DENOM EXCL – DENOM EXCEP is 0. Since the Performance Rate is not a required template, Cypress will only perform the validation when it is present. -Dave Czulada |
