| Solution: | Thank you for your query! It seems like it is not so much of a code issue but more of an implementation issue i.e: how the measure logic is implemented at your organization. The way it is implemented currently it is failing to use the timing operator which is a part of the "medical induction" part of the neumerator logic: •Union of: ◦"Procedure, Performed: Medical Induction of Labor" ◦"Procedure, Performed: Artificial Rupture of Membranes" ◦"Medication, Administered: Oxytocin" ◦"Medication, Administered: Dinoprostone •<= 24 hour(s) starts before start of ("Assessment, Performed: Labor" starts during Occurrence A of $EncounterInpatient |

The code 10907ZC (Drainage of Amniotic Fluid, Therapeutic from Products of Conception, Via Natural or Artificial opening) is causing patients to meet the numerator when in fact the patient had labor before medical induction of labor occurred. However when coded, the patients are coded with 10907ZC and therefore meet the numerator when they should not. |
