| Solution: | The intent of the measure is to capture visits for routine HIV care according to the steward. However, there is currently no way to capture this in the EHR specifically. The issue will be investigated for the annual update and in the interim should use the listed outpatient visit codes. | ||||

There is nothing in the specifications or value set which requires the encounters in question to be routine monitoring visits or visits which include ��routine primary care for the patient with HIV/AIDS�, which is the purpose of the measure. As such, doesn�t the measure lose any real value? |
