Description |
A specific measure test case is being incorrectly counted under both the numerator exclusion and denominator exclusion, when it should only be included in the denominator exclusion. In MADiE, the results show that the denominator exclusion definition correctly highlights the specific encounter, while the numerator exclusion displays a result of "UNHIT." |

cbiggs Can confirm that denex test cases are correctly only including denominator exclusion counts and not numerator exclusion |

abdullah.rafiqi@esacinc.com the release of MADiE 2.2.7 today pulled in the latest version of fqm-execution (1.8.1). Please verify your issue and if appropriate, set Submitter Resolution Confirmed on this ticket to Yes. Thank you! |
Comment by Christina Biggs [ 06/03/25 ] |
kimberlys yes we will pull the latest fqm-execution engine into MADiE in our next sprint, which will put it in the MADiE 2.2.7 release (~7/9 release). |
Comment by Kimberly Smuk [ 06/03/25 ] |
cbartleman@telligen.com Heather.Frideres the Git ticket notes "issue was resolved in the v1.8.0 release of fqm-execution". Do you have any information on when SemanticBits will incorporate this version of fqm-execution in MADiE?

kimberlys shardaesims Just wanted to provide an update that this issue also appears to be impacting CMS1017FHIR – Falls with Injury. It’s affecting all of the test cases, which are expected to pass only when denominator exclusions apply. |

Abdullah, The MADiE team has opened the following Github ticket to address your issue: Please continue to follow the GitHub ticket linked above for updates and resolution status. Per process, we will close this ticket with the description of "Referred to External Party for Resolution". Sincerely, |

kimberlys Currently at the moment this is the only measure being impacted by this ticket |

Hi abdullah.rafiqi@esacinc.com, The MADiE team is investigating your inquiry following the review completed by the CQLIT team. Of note, because this is a QI-Core 6.0.0 measure, rather than evaluating the CQM Execution Engine, we will be opening an external ticket to request that the FQM Execution team evaluate further. Please continue to monitor the ticket for additional updates. |

eCQM Standards Team jseeman02 jrubini Can you move this back to MADiE issue tracker so the CQM Execution Engine can be evaluated by the MADiE team? Thank you! |
Comment by Michael Holck [ 05/08/25 ] |
Do not believe this is a CQL issue, it is likely an issue in the CQL evaluation engine used for testing the measures in MADiE. The DENEX and NUMEX are defined exactly the same so not surprising that it would count for both populations but it is up to the evaluation engine to know not to count the NUMEX if NUMER is 0. |
Comment by Abdullah Rafiqi [ 05/08/25 ] |
The issue is still persisting and we are currently in the process of evaluating solutions |
