If mutiple messages for Inpatient Encounter, how are they read?

      Our eCQM messages can contain multiple Non elective Inpatient Encounter messages with different admit and discharge times. How does the LOGIC read multiple messages for any eCQM measure that uses this Industry code 32485007 Non elective Inpatient Encounter? Does it take the earliest? Does it adjust the admit and discharge time to the one most inclusive of hours?

      I am sending you a couple excel printouts of the electronic messages sent for electronic quality measures. I have collapsed the other rows of data but you are welcome to look at them if you feel a need.  Each of these patient examples have multiple OID/Industrial code data for the 

      Encounter, Performed: Non-Elective Inpatient Encounter

      So I am asking, with multiple messages sent by our hospital database, how does the logic of the system decide the admit date/time and the discharge date/time. From one of the example attached, here are the 3 messages, all for the same OID/Industrial code?  11/16 18:12 is the start date/time and 11/25 13;20 the discharge date/time. OR would the logic choose only the first row and the admit date/time is 11/6 18:12 through Discharge date/time 11/16 20:46?
