From a measure perspective, it is acceptable to populate the result with a generic string indicating that the result is found in the report. The measure requires a non-null result to ensure that the test was performed with a documented result.
Jira https://oncprojectracking.healthit.gov/support/browse/CQM-4927 clarified that if the faxed cervical cytology report is documented in the EHR using any of the codes found in the value set "Pap Test" and has a non-null result (positive or negative), the record can be used to evaluate against the numerator criteria.
Could you please further clarify what 'result' value should be included in the QRDA 1 file for this type of "Laboratory Test, Performed" as the result is part of the text within the scanned document - not a codified/discrete value.
*We understand that EC eCQMs are submitted using QRDA3 files, however, the creation of QRDA1 files could be applicable to some organizations (and it is part of the electronic clinical quality measures certification criteria). Your guidance is appreciated. Thanks
