At our hospital, for STEMI cases identified in the ED, the patient is admitted to inpatient status with the same account. Patient departs from the ED, is taken to cath lab for intervention and discharged from inpatient status. 

Would these cases be included in the OP STEMI eCQM, specifically for PCI time within 90 minutes? Example timeline below:

ED arrival 8/21/24 at 0800

STEMI identified 8/21/24 at 0805

Patient departs ED to cath lab 8/21/24 at 0815

PCI balloon time 8/21/24 at 0830

Admit Inpatient Order entered 8/21/24 at 0900

Account changed from ED to IN Encounter 8/21/24 at 0905

Fibrinolytics and transfers out would take place while the patient was in the Emergency Department, but PCI takes place outside of the Emergency Department.
