Brief Description of Measure:

​CMS127: Pneumococcal Vaccination Status for Older Adults:
Percentage of patients 66 years of age and older who have ever received a pneumococcal vaccine

Description of Issue:

The measure developer reviewed the logic and determined that it uses the extensional value set OID for "Discharge Services - Nursing Facility", instead of the grouping value set OID. It is best practice to use the grouping value set OID, which reduces changes to the logic if an additional extensional value set(s) is added.

Proposed Solution:

Replace the extensional value set OID with the grouping value set OID; the value set titles are the same which means the logic definition will not see an obvious change.
